Hello! This is Lisa here with some exciting
updates for you. As you've probably noticed,
there has been less promotion and touring
for my album Cake And Pie than I'd like there
to be. I am very proud of this album; I spent
a long time working on it and am very happy
with the results. I know many of you have
already purchased my record (thank you!)
and have been listening to it and telling
your friends (thank you again!)

This is very unusual, but I am excited to
announce the re-release of a new version
of my album on a different record label.
I've decided to make a change to another
record label, Artemis Records. Artemis is
more "artist oriented", meaning
that they will support my music and my creative
vision with full force (albeit less cash
than a larger label). They are committed
to giving my record more support and will
actually be promoting my music to the radio
stations- which will hopefully result in
more touring and promotion.

Recordsというもうひとつのレーベルへ変更することに決めました。Artemisはもっと "artist

Because we can't re-release the exact same
record, we've made some changes. I like the
original version of the album, but in order
for the stores to have a "new product"
to sell, I needed to change some of the music
and the artwork. The new version of the album
is called Hello Lisa and will be in stores
on October 8, 2002. I have taken several
tracks off of Cake And Pie and replaced them
with new tracks. I am excited for you to
hear the new songs; some that you might have
heard live at my concerts over the last few
years.

It would be great for the success of Hello
Lisa if you bought it, however I know many
of you already went out and bought Cake And
Pie when it was originally released (despite
the less than tremendous amount of promotion
provided by the label). Because I wanted
to make the new songs available for all of
you to hear, in case you didn’t want to
buy a whole new album, we’re going to make
a special limited edition EP that will be
less expensive for you to get. The EP will
have all the new songs from Hello Lisa and
the original version of the song "Underdog."
You won’t find the EP in any stores; it's
only for my fans, and will only be sold on
lisaloeb.com and maybe at some live concerts.
More information about the EP will be posted
at lisaloeb.com when we have it. Of course
if you wanted to buy Hello Lisa, you can
do that too; it will be a full album and
has great new artwork featuring Hello Kitty.
